Aerolineas Argentinas

Aerolíneas Argentinas is the flag carrier of Argentina, founded in 1950 through the merger of four existing domestic airlines. Re-nationalised by the Argentine government in 2008 after a period of private ownership, it is today majority-owned by the state through the holding company Intercargo.

The airline operates an extensive domestic network connecting Buenos Aires with virtually every major Argentine city, as well as international routes across Latin America, North America, Europe, and Oceania. Its hub at Ezeiza (EZE) handles all long-haul international traffic, while Aeroparque (AEP) serves domestic and regional services.

Aerolíneas Argentinas is a member of the SkyTeam global alliance, giving its passengers reciprocal benefits and connectivity across the network of alliance partners worldwide.

The loyalty programme Aerolíneas Plus allows members to earn and redeem miles on flights and with a range of commercial partners. The airline continues to modernise its fleet with Airbus and Boeing narrowbody and widebody aircraft.
