Air Senegal is the flag carrier of Senegal, re-established in 2016 by the Senegalese government to replace the defunct Senegal Airlines. It is majority state-owned and based at Blaise Diagne International Airport near Dakar.
The airline operates regional routes across West and Central Africa, along with medium-haul international services to Europe including Paris and Madrid. It aims to position Dakar as a regional aviation hub for West Africa.
Air Senegal has pursued a mixed-fleet strategy, operating both narrowbody and widebody aircraft to serve its diverse network. It has received support from the Senegalese government as part of broader efforts to develop national aviation infrastructure.
