JetSmart is a Chilean ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC) founded in 2017 and headquartered in Santiago. It was established with backing from Indigo Partners, the US-based aviation investment firm that also backs Wizz Air, Volaris, and Frontier Airlines.
The airline operates domestic routes within Chile and has expanded into international services across South America, connecting Chile with Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, and Brazil. It has also launched operations in Argentina under the JetSmart Argentina brand.
As an ULCC, JetSmart follows a strict unbundled pricing model, keeping base fares low while charging separately for services such as checked baggage, seat selection, and onboard refreshments. It operates an all-Airbus A320 family fleet.
