Pegasus Airlines is Turkey's second-largest airline and a leading low-cost carrier in the region, founded in 1990 and relaunched as a budget carrier in 2005 under the ownership of the Esas Holding conglomerate. It is headquartered in Istanbul and based at Sabiha Gökçen Airport on the Asian side of the city.

Pegasus serves an extensive network spanning Turkey, Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa, making it one of the most geographically wide-ranging low-cost carriers outside of Western Europe. Domestic Turkish routes form the backbone of its operation.
