Overview
S7 Airlines, formally known as Siberia Airlines, is one of Russia's largest private airlines, operating an extensive domestic network alongside international routes to Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East.
Established in 1992 from the Soviet-era Siberia Airlines enterprise, S7 grew to become a significant player in the Russian aviation market and joined the oneworld global airline alliance in 2010.
The airline's oneworld membership was suspended in 2022 following international sanctions arising from the conflict in Ukraine, and the carrier has since focused on domestic Russian routes and flights to countries maintaining open air relations.
S7 operates a modern Airbus and Boeing fleet and has been known for its bright green aircraft livery.
