Hong Kong Express Airways, trading as HK Express, is a low-cost carrier based in Hong Kong. Established in 2004, it was transformed into a budget airline in 2013 and has since focused on short- and medium-haul leisure routes across Asia.
The airline was acquired by Cathay Pacific in 2019, making it Cathay's low-cost subsidiary alongside its mainline full-service operations. HK Express operates an all-Airbus narrowbody fleet optimised for high-frequency regional services.
HK Express serves a network spanning mainland China, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and other Asia-Pacific destinations, targeting price-sensitive leisure travellers departing Hong Kong.
