VivaAerobús

VivaAerobús is a Mexican ultra-low-cost carrier founded in 2006 and headquartered in Monterrey. It was established by IAMSA, a large Mexican bus transport group, leveraging its existing logistics and travel industry expertise to enter aviation.

The airline operates domestic routes across Mexico and a growing network of international routes to the United States, connecting Mexican cities with popular US destinations. It has focused particularly on routes serving Mexico's northern border region and leisure markets.

VivaAerobús follows a strict ULCC model with unbundled fares and ancillary revenue focus. It has invested in a modern, fuel-efficient Airbus A320neo family fleet to reduce operating costs and expand its capacity as Mexico's domestic aviation market has grown significantly.
