RwandAir is the flag carrier of Rwanda, operating scheduled international services connecting Kigali to destinations across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
Established in 2002 as a successor to Air Rwanda, the airline is majority owned by the Rwandan government and has been a central component of the country's ambition to position Kigali as a major African aviation hub.
RwandAir operates a modern mixed fleet of Airbus and Boeing widebody and narrowbody aircraft, and has expanded its network significantly through interline and codeshare agreements with larger global carriers.
