Overview
Shenzhen Airlines is a major Chinese carrier based at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, serving one of China's fastest-growing technology and manufacturing hubs. It is a subsidiary of Air China, which holds a majority stake.
Founded in 1992, the airline expanded rapidly alongside Shenzhen's economic rise, building a network of domestic routes and selected regional international services across Northeast and Southeast Asia.
Shenzhen Airlines joined Star Alliance as a member carrier in 2012, making it one of the few Chinese airlines in the alliance. Passengers benefit from reciprocal frequent flyer earning and lounge access across the global Star Alliance network.
