Delta Air Lines

Delta Air Lines is one of the largest airlines in the world, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1925 as a crop-dusting outfit in Macon, Georgia, Delta has evolved through a century of growth and mergers — most recently with Northwest Airlines in 2008 — into a global carrier operating from hubs at Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New York JFK & LaGuardia, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Boston.

Delta operates the most diverse mainline fleet of any US airline, blending Airbus and Boeing types across short, medium, and long-haul missions. The Airbus A220 and A321neo power short-haul; the A330-900neo and A350-900 anchor long-haul; and Boeing 717s, 737s, 757s, and 767s round out the mix. Delta One is the flagship long-haul business cabin.

Delta is a founding member of SkyTeam (2000) and operates joint ventures with Air France-KLM, Korean Air, LATAM, and Virgin Atlantic. The carrier consistently ranks among the most operationally reliable major airlines for on-time performance and completion factor.
